Richwoods lost their second round IHSA playoff football game yesterday.  Cahokia won by the score of 26-12.

Cahokia advances to meet Springfield Sacred Heart Griffin next week – the defending  5A champions. 

Congratulations to Coach Simper and the Knights for a great football season and another Midstate-6 Conference championship.  Great job, guys!

It looks like the only local team left in the hunt is Metamora.  They beat Taylorville decisively by a score of 54-8.  They face Marion next week in the quarterfinals.  Good luck to the Redbirds.
