Edgar Sandoval has already blogged about this subject, but I think it bears repeating.  During the recent mayoral debate, Toel criticized Tebben for (1) failing to stop the sale of the Pekin High West Campus to Merle Huff and (2) opposing the federal prison.  John Neumann, a past president of the District 303 Board of Education, provides some clarity on those issues in a letter to the editor in the Daily Times.  Again it turns out Toel’s description of the situation and reality are … somewhat divergent.

This is not the kind of behavior we want from the mayor of our community. Please vote on April 17, and please vote for Dave Tebben.
