I was reading through the weekend edition of the Pekin Daily Times, and I noticed that Daniel J. Vance’s Disabilities column featured Jake Grys. Vance gives some background on the Grys family and mentions their effort to get on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition so their home can be modified to help Jake with his activities of daily living.
There’s no new information in this column for those following the story here in Central Illinois, but hopefully this will spread the word about Jake to a wider audience. According to Vance’s site, his column is published in more than 125 newspapers.
