‘Will It Play in Peoria?’ still has some real good legs on the national scene. Some (in Peoria) are tired of the slogan, but the brand strategy isn’t for the citizens of Peoria. It’s marketing the city of Peoria to external audiences.

Bill hates everything and anything to get hits on his site. You could post the city is getting $1 billion from Bill Gates, no strings attached, and he would be upset

I would be upset if that $1 million from Mr. Gates were usaed to help build that damn museum. If it were going to The Peoria Promise, I’d be happy.
