One of the main criticisms I’ve heard from Republicans (and Clintonistas, for that matter) regarding Barack Obama is that he offers charisma and flowery rhetoric but little in the way of substance. His world-view is naive, and the change he offers is overflowing with hyperbole. That’s complete bull in my opinion, but the argument carries weight with some folks.
To those critics I offer this political ad from the John McCain campaign for comparison:
