Power Problems

I have experienced more power glitches – both brief interruptions and prolonged outages – in the last two years in Pekin than I did for my entire 15 years in St. Louis.  We’ve had two prolonged outages and 3 or 4 flickers just in the past couple weeks.

OK, this newsclip on Yahoo caught my eye.  It’s probably right up there with cold fusion, but it sure would be nice if it were true.  The company is confident enough to issue an open challenge to the scientific community in The Economist.  We’ll see what plays out.
